First Committee meeting at M. Robinson's home. Frances Nelson was the chairman for afternoon session.
Discussion
1.
Site - 1. Port Ryersie - C.G.I.T. Camp $150.00 week all conveniences-including showers-on lake Erie-good swimming
2. Livingston Camp-Winona Disadvantages-poor access to lake-water suddenly deep, too close to Hamilton
3. Camp Kreal-at Bolton $50.00 per week Disadvantages-swimming limited and not private for camp
4. Innisville Park-accommodates only 45
5. Fair Haven-Gamebridge (A.G.C.) Private swimming area. This was the best suggestion all round. M. Robinson appointed to check on details re cost, dates, etc.
2. Rates-to be decided after all costs considered (registration fee $2.00) not refundable
3. Ages-8-17 yrs.
4. Visitors-Seeing it is to be only one week camp it was decided "No visitors."
5. Equipment-M. Robinson was to check
6. Insurance-Compulsory, 50 cents per week
7. Dates-August 21-28, 1954
8. Cook-
9. Registration Date-June 1, 1954
10. Personal-We were all to be thinking in terms of counsellors, camp help, cook help.

Duties appointed to committee members present:
W. Watson-cook, food convener, license for camp
M. Bish-Red Cross Swimming information, P.G. Headquarters letter with questions, problems and plans.
M. Robinson-Fair Haven-re rates, food, and any other questions relating.
F. Nelson-re Nurses Registration-temporary for American Nurse for short period.

1. Counsellors-It was decided counsellors must be at least 19 yrs. old and emotionally mature.
2. Folders-To be sent out the latter part of Feb. or as soon as possible.
3. Rates-No more than $15.00
4. Food Showers-Suggestion given to the different churches that a shower of canned goods given toward camp.
5. Counsellors' Meeting-24th of May suggested
